Ingredients
900g white sugar
350g evaporated milk
500g milk chocolate chips
200g butter
1tsp vanilla extract
400g chopped walnuts
Marshmallows (to sprinkle when served)
Method
- Cover a 9″x13″ tin with foil
- Combine the sugar and evaporated milk in a large, heavy bottomed pan over a medium heat
- Stir constantly and boil for six minutes
- Remove from the heat and add the butter, chocolate chips and vanilla
- Continue to stir until everything has melted together
- Stir in the walnuts and pour into the tin
- Chill until set and slice into small squares. Sprinkle marshmallows on top to serve.
