To ensure the Coronation is as memorable as possible for some of our older veterans across the country, we are helping two of the care homes that we fund to create Coronation celebrations.
Residents of Erskine in Scotland and Royal Star & Garter in the South East and West Midlands will be able to enjoy Coronation parties with themed decorations and ABF The Soldiers’ Charity goody bags.
Brigadier (Ret’d) Peter Monteith, Chief Operating Officer, ABF The Soldiers’ Charity, said:
“This weekend we will join everyone across the nation in celebrating the Coronation of Their Majesties The King and Queen. We treasure our close relationship with the veteran care home community, and are delighted to help our friends at Erskine and Royal Star & Garter mark the Coronation in style.”
