Cardiff Half Marathon 2022

Your race. Your way.

The Cardiff Half Marathon has grown into one of the largest and most exciting road races in the United Kingdom, promising to deliver the full works for the half marathon. It is now one of Europe’s largest half marathons and is Wales’ largest mass participation and multi-charity fundraising event.

The route will take you past the capital’s iconic landmarks with beautiful scenery and historic buildings. The predominately flat and fast course makes it ideal for beginners and elites.

Registration fee: FREE

Fundraising commitment: £200 (excluding Gift Aid)

You must be 18 or over on the day of the event in order to run. Upon offer of a FREE running place you will be asked to complete registration to confirm your participation.

Got a place already? 

If you are an own place runner, we would be delighted to have you join The Soldiers’ Charity team. There’s no registration fee and no minimum sponsorship amount required, and we’ll be there to support your entire marathon journey. Simply complete the online registration clicking on the own space runner or feel free to contact the Wales team on wales@soldierscharity.org.

Fundraising support 

We have got lots of resources to get you started, including extra sponsorship forms and information on Gift Aid. We can also post you resources such as sponsorship forms, collection tins, and posters and balloons for your fundraising events.  If you need anything simply contact the team or call 07392 081 730.
