Chatsworth Annual Dinner
Thursday 31st August 2023
Come and join us at our annual Chatsworth Dinner. It promises to be a fantastic evening with a drinks reception and music from a military band, followed by delicious food and a guest speaker, all in the fantastic surroundings of The Stables, Chatsworth House.
Guest Speaker
We are privileged to have Andy Reid as our guest speaker this year. Andy suffered catastrophic injuries in an IED explosion while serving with The Yorkshire Regiment in Afghanistan in 2009. With some help from our charity, he has overcome his injuries and is now a passionate ambassador, fundraiser and an accomplished motivational speaker. His autobiography ‘Standing Tall: The Inspirational Story of a True British Hero’ was published in 2013, and is a powerful read. In June 2019, Andy was awarded an MBE in the Queen’s Birthday Honours List for voluntary service to veterans and to people with disabilities in St Helens. Andy has established the Standing Tall Foundation with John Tabern in 2020 which promotes mental and physical health for all. You can read Andy’s full story here.
