Dorset Big Curry Lunch

Come along and enjoy a delicious meal in support of the Army’s national charity!

The Dorset Curry Lunch will once again be held at Bryanston School, Blandford on Sunday 27th March 2022.
The excellent Bryanston Chefs will serve a selection of traditional curries, with a non-curry option also available.

This event has now sold out and no more tickets are available for sale. Apologies for any inconvenience.

After lunch, Major General James Cowan CBE DSO was to give an illustrated talk about ‘Waterloo Remodelled.’

From Brigadier Donald Wilson, Chairman Dorset Committee:

Major General James Cowan was to have given a short illustrated talk at the Dorset Big Curry lunch on 27th March.  His subject was to be the project Waterloo Remodelled.  James Cowan is Chief Executive of the HALO Trust which conducts clearance of mines and unexploded munitions in conflict zones throughout the world.  HALO has an operational programme in Ukraine which employs 450 people and therefore James must concentrate on that for obvious reasons.  His plans for managing the current situation mean that he cannot now attend the Big Curry on 27th March and he has asked me to give you his sincere apologies.  I know that you will understand his priorities and I look forward to welcoming you to the lunch at Bryanston.

James has agreed to give his talk on Waterloo Remodelled to an audience of supporters of ABF The Soldiers’ Charity on a later date in Dorset when his HALO commitments permit.

Event ends 15:30 pm
