Gloucester Charity Golf Day

Join us at our Gloucester Golf Day on Tuesday 30th July 24 at Brickhampton Court Golf Club Gloucester. Raising critically needed money for soldiers, veterans and their families who are in need and may have suffered either mental or physical hardships, while having a (hopefully successful!) round of golf and a delicious two course meal.

Competition

The Gloucester Golf Day will take the form of a Bowmaker. This will be a team event with teams of 4 players with scores to count from each hole as follows:

  • All Par 3 holes – 4 to count.
  • All Par 4 holes – 3 to count.
  • All Par 5 holes – 2 to count.

In the unlikely event of a draw for 1st Place, the highest team score, on the 17th hole will decide (if it is still a draw then it will be for holes… 16th, 15th etc).

Entrance Fees

Club Members:

  1. Individuals: £45
  2. Team: £180

Non Club  Members:

  1. Indivduals: £65
  2. Team: £260

  3. Nearest Pin Male
  4. Nearest Pin Female
  5. All Male Team winners
  6. All Female Team winners
  7. Mixed Team winners

Buggies

There are a limited number of buggies available on the event day. Therefore, it will be down more to necessity than luxury for individuals to have the use of a buggy on the day. The cost per buggie will be £30.

Programme

The outline programme for the day is as follows:

  • 0700hrs –         Golf Shop Opens
  • 0730hrs –         Registration Opens
  • 0830hrs –         Driving Range Opens
  • 0845hrs –         Coffee/Tea & Bacon rolls (One roll per person)
  • 1000hrs –         1st Tee Timing (Followed by teams teeing off every 8 mins)
  • 1615hrs –         Presentations*,
  • 1645hrs –         Dinner to be served (2 Courses) *

*Note:  Depending on entrance numbers the Presentation / Dinner could be brought forward.

The Chairman of Gloucestershire ABF, Major General Sir Evelyn Webb-Carter KCVO, OBE, DL has kindly agreed to present the prizes before the meal.

Sponsor a Hole

We are looking for sponsorship for each of the 18 holes being played during the event for a minimum of £50. Please email [email protected] if you, or someone you know, would be interested.

The Golf Course

Set in 200 acres of rolling Gloucestershire countryside, Brickhampton Court comprises of two charming tree lined golf courses that over the years have matured and now provide a great test of both ability and strategy. Further complimenting the golf courses are a 28 bay floodlit driving range and practice putting green, along with excellent bar, restaurant and conferencing facilities.
