Swansea Half Marathon
Voted the UK’s best half marathon (2017 & 2018) and Wales biggest and best summer half marathon; the JCP Swansea half marathon offers runners the chance for a perfect PB on the flat, fast, scenic 13.1 route.
2019 marks, 75 years since the Charity was formed 75 years ago in 1944 to ensure that soldiers returning from the Second World War and campaigns such as D-Day were taken care of. ABF The Soldiers’ Charity’s central purpose has not changed in its 75 years of existence: we exist to honour that debt – to ensure that all soldiers, veterans and their immediate families can live a life of independence and dignity.
We owe a debt to those who served – in the D-Day landings and Normandy campaign, and in all subsequent conflicts – just as we continue to owe a debt to those who serve our country today. ABF The Soldiers’ Charity stands ready to continue supporting soldiers, veterans and their families for the long haul; and we are ever-grateful for their service.
