PAIRS REMOTE GOLF COMPETITION
5th March – 7th June 2021
Played remotely in the comfort of your home course, why not throw down a gauntlet to golfing friends/rivals? If you enjoy a challenge, the Pairs Remote Golf Competition in support of The Soldiers’ Charity will certainly tickle your fancy.
Make the most of Spring with a little bit of competitive and light-hearted rivalry between golf courses, giving you and friends a chance to get rid of any out-of-season rustiness. You play the courses and we’ll provide the prizes!
Format
The Pairs Remote Golf Competition is 2-Ball “Better Ball”, Stableford, with 75% of your individual handicap, played from the yellow tee or female equivalent.
- Complete a minimum of six scoring cards, during 5th March – 7th June.
- No limit on how many times you play.
- Send a picture of your scorecard via WhatsApp or scotland@soldierscharity.org within 24 hours of your game.
Prizes
- 1st Pair (Gross Stableford)
- 1st, 2nd and 3rd Pairs (Nett Stableford)
- Special mystery prize – a “Money Can’t Buy” opportunity
- Pair with most golf (Lowest Nett Stableford score)

Cost
£40 per pair, includes a charity donation and your prizes for the Pairs Remote Golf Competition.
Registration
- By Friday 30th April 2021, click here to register online or email scotland@soldierscharity.org for a corporate invoice.
Scores
Scores will be published weekly, as you pit your skills against your friends.
- No scorecards will be accepted before 5th March 2021.
- Score cards must clearly show the scoring player A or B’s gross score used on each hole. Stableford scores will be worked out by the event organiser.
- In the event of a draw, the last 3 cards will determine the winning pair.
