We are delighted to award a £26,800 grant to the Army Widows’ Association, towards its operating costs and development work.
Our charity prides itself on supporting the welfare of Army families. The Army Widows’ Association provides Army widows, widowers, civil partners and their dependent children with relief from the effects of bereavement and the loss of loved ones.
The charity provides comfort, support and friendship through respite events, access to counselling services, and information sharing.
Our grant will help to fund the charity’s services, the costs of its Annual General Meeting and respite weekend, and its members’ attendance at Remembrance Day commemorations.
