The ‘Commemoration Issue’ of FrontLine reflects on the 100th anniversary of the end of World War One at the close of the 2014-18 centenary period. Within the magazine, we look at the reasons for our charity being founded as a direct result of the hardships experienced by soldiers, veterans and their families in the aftermath of WWI. Elsewhere in the issue, we celebrate the success of our Frontline Walk, which has raised more than £1 million since its inception in 2014, and bring you the stories of three elderly veterans who have retained their independence and dignity thanks to our support.
