The D-Day Issue of FrontLine marks the 75th anniversary of the D-Day landings. Elsewhere, writer Alan Spence discusses ‘Operation Copperhead,’ an Allied misinformation strategy designed to mislead German intelligence as to the location of General Montgomery in the run up to the landings. General Montgomery would later go on to front our very first public appeal after the war.
