The first issue of our recreation of the much loved WWI trench magazine The Wipers Times kicked off our No Man’s Land garden at the 2014 Chelsea Flower Show.

Featuring Stephen Fry writing as the grandson of Blackadder’s General Melchett, issue one also looks at the WWI memoirs of Rupert Cary, grandfather of Charlotte Rowe, the designer of our award winning garden.

We also talk to Chris Parrott on his own battle through No Man’s Land after being wounded in Afghanistan, and how the Charity helped him through his rehabilitation at Headley Court, to eventually becoming part of the team who built the No Man’s Land garden.
