On Friday 3 March, we were delighted to visit the team at RIFT Tax Refunds to celebrate the company’s longstanding and generous support for our charity’s work.

Our Chief Operating Officer, Brigadier (Ret’d) Peter Monteith, met Jan Post, Chairman and Founder of RIFT Tax Refunds; Bradley Post, Managing Director; and Capt (Ret’d) Shaun Micallef-Green, Head of Armed Forces Liaison, as well as other staff.

RIFT Tax Refunds helps both serving and former military personnel to claim Armed Forces tax refunds for travel expenses. Since 2013 it has helped more than 65,000 military customers claim back £120 million in tax returns.

RIFT Tax Refunds is proud of its ties with the Armed Forces community and has supported ABF The Soldiers’ Charity for nine years, raising over £300,000 through donations. This generous support has funded our charity’s help for soldiers, veterans and their immediate families.

In 2020, the company earned an Armed Forces Covenant Employer Recognition Scheme Gold Award for its exemplary record of advocacy and support for the military community.

Brigadier (Ret’d) Peter Monteith, Chief Operating Officer, ABF The Soldiers’ Charity, said:

Last week I was delighted to meet our friends at RIFT to thank them for their generous and longstanding support for the Armed Forces community and their financial advice and assistance to soldiers and veterans. We are grateful for RIFT’s commitment to supporting the Armed Forces community and encouraging other businesses to do the same.
