As some fundraising activities resume in the weeks and months ahead, it is vital that they are carried out sensitively, safely and responsibly.

At ABF The Soldiers’ Charity, we are committed to fundraising in a sensitive and safe way, in line with the Code of Fundraising Practice and the current government advice on coronavirus including working safely during coronavirus. We will only restart face-to-face fundraising events when we are satisfied that this can be done safely, in line with this guidance and following relevant government advice, and where the risks associated with the activities can be properly managed.

We will keep up-to-date with government announcements as well as guidance from the Fundraising Regulator and will be sure to apply any new requirements and limitations to our fundraising activities. We will undertake fulsome risk assessments in which we will consider the risks staff, volunteers and members of the public will face and we will do everything reasonably practicable to minimise them. The safety of our supporters, volunteers and staff is and will always be of paramount importance to us.
