General Sir Michael Rose shares his recollections of commanding the SAS during the 1980 Iranian Embassy siege and his thoughts on the Army’s twenty years in Afghanistan.

General Sir Mike Rose is best known for his roles in the Iranian Embassy siege, the Falklands War and as Commander of the UN Protection Force in Bosnia in 1994, where his mission was to sustain the people of Bosnia in the midst of a devastating, three-sided war.
